Resumo
Este trabalho busca compreender o desenvolvimento de alguns conceitos comenianos ao longo do amadurecimento de seu pensamento. Na análise das obras comenianas, é possível perceber que alguns temas e conceitos receberam um novo tratamento em seus textos mais maduros. Aqui, apresentaremos o desenvolvimento do significado da noção de “todos” nas obras comenianas traduzidas para o português, a saber: O Labirinto do mundo e o paraíso do coração; A escola da infância; Didática Magna e Pampaedia. Ainda, discutiremos também as transformações no pensamento de Comenius relativamente ao tema das escolas da vida. Para tanto, procuramos inserir Comenius em seu contexto histórico, salientando as especificidades de sua formação inicial, ao lado dos Irmãos Morávios e sob os ideais hussitas, mas também destacando as singularidades do momento histórico vivido por Comenius. O educador tcheco viveu entre os séculos XVI e XVII, um período de transição entre o medievo e a modernidade. Nosso esforço foi o de apresentar Comenius como um homem de seu tempo, que, por isso, forja um pensamento fortemente impregnado de religiosidade, como também fundado no ideário da nova ciência moderna e já ocupado com a valorização da infância e da família. Procuramos também indicar de que modo alguns acontecimentos da vida pessoal de Comenius influenciaram, em alguma medida, o desenvolvimento do seu pensamento. Ao final, esperamos, ainda, ter esclarecido de que maneira é possível afirmar que, além de se ocupar da educação, na teoria e na prática, Comenius educava por meio de seus livros, justamente porque assim pretendia.
Abstract
This paper intends to understand the development of some Comenian concepts along the maturation of his thinking. In the analysis of Comenian works, you can see that some themes and concepts received a new treatment in their more mature texts. Here, we present the development of the meaning of the term "all" in Comenian works translated into Portuguese, namely: Labyrinth of the world and the paradise of the heart; The school of infancy; The Great Didactics and Pampaedia. Still, we will also discuss the changes in the thinking of Comenius relating to the schools of life. Therefore, we try to insert Comenius in its historical context, stressing the specifics of his initial training, along with the Moravian Brethren and under the Hussite ideals, but also highlighting the uniqueness of the historical moment lived by Comenius. The Czech educator lived between the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, a period of transition between the Middle Ages and Modernity. Our effort was to present Comenius as a man of his time, who, in that way, forges a thought strongly impregnated with religion, as well as based on the ideas of the new modern science and already occupied with the appreciation of children and family. We also seek to identify how some events of Comenius personal life influenced, to some extent, the development of his thought. At the end, we hope to have clarified how it can be said that in addition to take care of education, in theory and in practice, Comenius educated through his books, precisely because so intended.
