Resumo
O Patrimônio Natural e Construído que permaneceu no seu território, diante de toda nova cidade, a todo tempo e momento exigindo espaços para receber e dar respostas às necessidades de produção, sistemas e modos, tecnologia e processos de transformações da matéria em valores de uso e de troca, nos faz sentir impotentes diante da velocidade e mudanças impostas no cotidiano da vida urbana. O ser humano levado na condição do fazer e sobreviver materialmente neste cenário de respostas produtivas, necessita de uma alma para não se deixar materializar-se. A memória e história tornam-se fundamentais para o olhar e refletir sobre o passado, proporcionando reflexões daquilo que estamos construindo hoje, respeitando os fazeres como forma crítica e experiência realizada pelos homens no seu tempo vivido. Como pensar o passado olhando para o Sítio Histórico de Piracicaba, na sua presença maior o Engenho Central. A modernização da produção do açúcar e a presença da indústria na cidade, do qual necessita de trabalhadores e a exploração do recurso natural: Água respondendo e justificando o lugar. A intenção descrita através de uma narrativa e alguns conceitos sobre preservação de bens naturais e materiais, apresentando imagens que possam contribuir para a informação e significado da sua permanência e existência como fragmentos e residuais urbanos documentais.
Abstract
The natural and built patrimony, which remained in its territory ahead the entire city, which demanded spaces to receive and provide quick answers to the production needs, technology and transformation of material into values of use and exchange, make us unable in front of the speed and changes imposed in the daily routine of urban life. The human being carried on condition of “doing and survive” in this scenario of productive answers need someone to avoid materialization. The memory and history become necessary and reflecting about the past brings reflection on what we have been building now, respecting the tasks over critical look and experiences performed by men during their life. How to think in the past looking at the Historical Site of Piracicaba, especially in the sugar mill. The modernization of sugar cane production and its factories around the city which need workers and the exploitation of the natural resource: the Water. This work is a narrative and it brings some concepts regarding preservation of natural and material resources. Also, it shows images that may contribute to the information and the meaning of its permanence and existence like fragments and documentary urban waste.
