Resumo
Este estudo tem como objeto de investigação o Curso de Especialização de Professores de Filosofia a Distância, da REDEFOR (Rede de Formação Docente), como uma alternativa de formação continuada aos professores em serviço que desejam se atualizar e não dispõem de condições para frequentar os cursos presenciais. A pesquisa parte da hipótese de que as tecnologias digitais, construídas no contexto da sociedade de consumo, quando transpostas para as experiências culturais e formativas, carregam consigo suas ambiguidades, e tanto podem estar a serviço da dominação como da emancipação dos indivíduos. O referencial teórico utilizado para a análise do curso provém da Teoria Crítica da Sociedade e de pensadores contemporâneos que analisam as influências das novas tecnologias na vida do homem hodierno, particularmente nas experiências formativas de educação a distância, EAD. Foram analisados o contexto e a estrutura do curso de especialização, bem como as informações e observações de alunos que dele participaram, na busca dos pontos positivos e negativos dessa nova modalidade de formação continuada dos docentes de filosofia. Espera-se, com este estudo, contribuir para a melhoria dessa experiência educativa.
Abstract
This study aims to address the theme: "New technologies in distance education as a possible realization of continuing education for teachers." Recently, in the state of São Paulo, was created to "School Improvement Teacher Training and Paulo Renato Souza Costa" - (EFAP) - with the aim of continuing the training of teachers, aimed at professional training and implementation of the curriculum State of Sao Paulo in various disciplines. This paper presents the REDEFOR (Teacher Education Network), which is enabling teachers from the state that continuous education, so necessary today. In particular, focus will be given to the specialization course distance offered to teachers of Philosophy, to reflect on his contributions to education and, through criticism, pointing out the positive and negative aspects of this teaching modality. By reading the work, it will be evident that the goal of this training is to provide not REDEFOR propositions act as the teacher in the classroom, ie, not to provide didactic teaching techniques and, yes, lead teachers to a greater depth the philosophical issues that, from the new questions, to think how to bring these contents into the classrooms. The theoretical basis for the analysis comes from the Critical Theory of Society and respected thinkers in new technologies and education. Readings were taken from several authors that deal with the topic in question, and also a quantitative research, in order to compare the theoretical information to practical reality.
