Resumo
Cada vez mais, as organizações vêm buscando novas formas de adquirir vantagens competitivas perante seus concorrentes. Isto tem forçado o desenvolvimento e aprimoramento de práticas e iniciativas da Gestão da Cadeia de Suprimentos e da Logística, que de certa forma proporcionam vantagens competitivas. Tudo isso têm ocorrido em um ritmo cada vez mais acelerado e ambas são consideradas inovadoras e estão em destaque, principalmente, pelo pouco tempo que elas estão sendo estudadas e aplicadas. Diante disto, os principais interessados como as empresas e as universidades buscam novas formas de se atualizar e aprimorar os conceitos e práticas na mesma velocidade que ela surge. Para tanto, indústria e universidade desprendem esforços no aprimoramento das técnicas de ensino ou treinamento que possa suprir essa necessidade. Uma das formas encontrada é a simulação computacional. A simulação tem sido usada pelas universidades e, principalmente, pela indústria para atualizar e ensinar funcionários e alunos de forma rápida e eficiente. Isso se dá devido às características da simulação como a possibilidade de criar cenários realísticos a um baixo custo e em menor tempo. Além disso, a simulação é vista como uma excelente ferramenta de ensino que pode ilustrar um sistema como, por exemplo, uma cadeia produtiva em sala de aula, possibilitando um ensino mais completo e prático de sistemas complexos ou de difícil acesso ou visualização. Assim, esta pesquisa desenvolve modelos representativos de algumas práticas de distribuição da Logística e de algumas práticas de colaboração da Gestão da Cadeia de Suprimentos. Para tanto é utilizado o programa ProModel como ferramenta de simulação, sendo esta, uma das mais atuais e de fácil visualização da simulação, tornando-a a ferramenta de simulação mais apropriada para o ensino e treinamento.
Abstract
More than ever, the organizations come looking for new forms of acquiring competitive advantages before its competitors. This has been forcing the development and improvement of practices and initiatives of Supply Chain Management and the Logistics, that provide competitive advantages in a certain way. All this has been happening in an accelerated rhythm and both are considered innovative and they are in prominence, mostly, for the little time that they are being studied and applied. For this reason, the stakeholders as the companies and the universities looking for the new forms of modernizing and improvement the concepts and practices in the same speed that they appear. For this, industry and university remove efforts in the improvement of the teaching techniques or training that it can supply their need. One way found is the simulation. The simulation has been used for the universities and, mostly, for the industry to improvement and to teach employees and students in a fast and efficient way. That gives because of the features of the simulation as the possibility to create realistic sceneries with low cost and small time. In addition, the simulation is seen as an excellent teaching tool that can illustrate a system as, for example, a productive chain, in class room, be able a more complete and practical teaching of sophisticated systems or of hard access or visualization. Thus, this research develops representative models of some practices of distribution of the Logistics and of some practices of collaboration of the Supply Chain Management. For so much is used the ProModel software as simulator, being this, one of the most current and with of easy visualization, turning it the most adapted for the teaching and training.
