Resumo
Esta dissertação tem como objetivo propor um método para integrar a simulação de eventos discretos com as ferramentas da manufatura enxuta em casos de melhoria de sistemas de produção, no qual este método foi validado em quatro casos diferentes. Para o embasamento teórico necessário foi realizada pesquisas em artigos e livros recentes sobre os temas: simulação; manufatura enxuta e sistemas de produção. Ao final do estudo concluiu-se que este método foi importante para a tomada de decisões e determinante para a melhoria dos sistemas de produção estudados.
Abstract
This paper aims to propose a method for integrating simulation of discrete events with the tools of lean manufacturing in cases of improvement of production systems, in which this method has been validated in four different cases. For the theoretical background necessary research has been conducted in recent articles and books on the subjects: simulation; lean manufacturing and production systems. At the end of the study it was concluded that this method was important for making decisions and determining the improvement of production systems studied.
