O TRABALHO DO CIRURGIÃO–DENTISTA: ANÁLISE DE RISCOS DE LESÕES OSTEOMUSCULARES NO HOSPITAL DE GUARNIÇÃO DE SANTA MARIA–RS

Resumo
O presente trabalho visa a contribuir para melhor compreensão do trabalho do cirurgiãodentista,
como também fazer um levantamento dos riscos de lesões osteomusculares da
referida profissão. O objetivo específico é trazer informações - através de uma entrevista
estruturada, do Questionário Nórdico e da Análise Coletiva do Trabalho - sobre os
acometimentos ou queixas dos cirurgiões-dentistas, verificando as possíveis causas e
se as mesmas são motivo para afastamento do trabalho; estimar uma média da carga
horária diária de atuação destes profissionais, bem como do número de pacientes
atendidos no Hospital de Guarnição (HGuSM); investigar se existe o hábito de trabalhar
a quatro mãos; relacionar os referidos problemas à determinadas especialidades;
analisar se existe algum tipo de pressão em relação à fila de espera e em deixar o
paciente muito tempo com a boca aberta, especificamente entre os profissionais do
Hospital de Guarnição, na cidade de Santa Maria-RS. A metodologia usada contou com
um questionário aplicado, com perguntas abertas e fechadas; com a análise coletiva do
trabalho, sendo feitos 2 encontros com cada turno de trabalho, proporcionando a
oportunidade do pesquisador conhecer a rotina e questões pertinentes ao trabalho
destes profissionais; e a aplicação do questionário Nórdico, com intuito de exibir os
sintomas osteomusculares em determinados períodos, o qual é fundamentado
cientificamente, podendo assim ser comparado em várias pesquisas, de maneira
padronizada. Os resultados da pesquisa apontam para alguns riscos de lesões,
causadas por posturas forçadas, contrações musculares estáticas, uso exagerado de
força em algumas circunstâncias e alguns fatores organizacionais como: pressão de
tempo, relação com clientela, cobrança de produção. Observou-se que o cirurgiãodentista
tem poucas opções de postura quando necessita obter uma visão direta da
cavidade bucal e que os profissionais relatam a presença de muitos sintomas
relacionados ao sistema musculoesquelético, principalmente em nível de pescoço e
ombros.
Abstract
This present work has as main purpose to contribute for a better understanding about the
dentist surgeon`s work, and also to enumerate the riks of osteomuscular damages
considering this profession. The objective specify to bring informations fhrough a
structuralized interview of Nordic Questionnaire and of it Analyses Collective of the Work
– on the acommetments or complain the dentist surgeons, the verifying the possibles
causes and if the same ones are reason for removal of the work, steem one measured of
workload of performance of these professionals, as well as number it for patients taken
care in the Guarnição Hospital (HGuSM); to investigate if exists in habito to work the
four hands; to relate the cited problems to the determined specialities; to analyse if exists
some types of pressure in relation to the time to wait and leaving the patient much time
with the opened mouth, specifically between professionals of the Guarnição Hospital, in
Santa Maria city – RS. Methodology includes a questionnaire with open and closed
questions which was applied, group analisys of the professionals workday – two
meetings for each staff – giving the researcher the opportunity to know their routine and
also the issues about work. And the application of the Nordic Questionnaire with intention
of show the osteomuscular symptoms in definitive periods, wich is based scientificly,
being able to compared in some research, in standardized way. Research results lead to
some damage risks caused by forced postures, static muscular contractions, overuse of
force in some circunstances, and organizational factors as pression of time, client
relationship, everyday production. It was noticed dentist surgeon has only a few options
of posture when a direct view of the mouth cavity is needed. In this meantime, they tell
many symptoms related to the muscularskeletic system specially on neck and shoulder
blade areas.
