Resumo
Buscou-se neste estudo relatar e refletir sobre aspectos do desenvolvimento infantil necessários à formação de professores da Educação Infantil. As crianças que inspiraram este estudo e que estiveram presentes durante a investigação tinham idade entre três e cinco anos. Procurou-se compreender o valor da brincadeira na Educação Infantil em seu papel mediador do conhecimento sobre si e sobre o mundo para as crianças desse nível de ensino. Para tanto, realizaram-se estudos sobre a violência e os estigmas que sofrem os moradores de um bairro considerado violento e assim anunciado pelos meios sociais de comunicação; elaborou-se um panorama histórico do conceito de infância e resgataram-se estudos de Vigotski, Leontiev e alguns autores contemporâneos sobre a constituição cultural da criança e refletiu-se sobre a brincadeira e a imaginação como funções constitutivas do psiquismo da criança.
Abstract
This research is about the aspects of child development which are necessary for teacher training of early childhood education. Children aged between 3 - 5 years have inspired this research and have participated in the investigation. The research has provided the understanding about the play’s importance and also the play’s role as a mediator of knowledge about themselves and about the world for children who are in this education level. Therefore, studies have been made about violence and prejudice that people suffer because they live in a neighborhood that has been considered dangerous and violent on social media communication. A historical overview has been created about childhood concepts, Vygotsky’s Leontiev’s studies and others contemporary authors who wrote about child cultural constitution, have been researched, it was made reflections about play and imagination as constitutive functions of the child psyche.
