Resumo
A Gestão da Cadeia de Suprimentos (Supply Chain Management – SCM) é
uma das mais importantes fontes de diferenciais competitivos atualmente
empregadas por empresas de todo o mundo, estabelecendo uma nova
dinâmica operacional para as empresas nela envolvidas e alterando
significativamente a forma de se gerir os processos de negócios dentro das
cadeias produtivas. Por sua vez, a Gestão da Demanda (GD) é um dos
principais processos influenciados por essas práticas. Esse trabalho traz uma
análise da relação entre a GD e as práticas de SCM, abordando os principais
elementos da GD e as principais práticas de SCM, além de propor um modelo
conceitual de análise dessa relação.
Abstract
Nowadays Supply Chain Management (SCM) is one of the most important
sources of competitive differential, which has been used regularly by companies
all over the world. It sets up a new operational dynamic to the companies
involved with it and it changes substantially the way the business processes are
managed. As a result, the demand management is one of the main processes
that are influenced by these practices. Based on worksheets model this work
presents a conceptual and general analysis of the relationship between the
demand management and the SCM practices. This work presents an analysis
of the relation between the DM and SCM practices, approaching the main
elements of DM and the main practices of SCM, besides considering a
conceptual model of analysis of this relation.
