Resumo
Cada vez mais, as empresas industriais operam em ambientes competitivos,
utilizando novas tecnologias como também novas formas de gerenciamento e
relacionamento. Esse ambiente exige das empresas grandes esforços, entre
eles a atualização de seus Recursos Humanos que devem estar preparados
para esse ambiente competitivo. As Instituições de Ensino Superior são fonte
de mão-de-obra para essas empresas, porém não se sabe com que nível de
conhecimento e/ou preparação se apresentam os concluintes dos cursos. O
presente trabalho evidencia duas áreas do conhecimento: a Gestão da Cadeia
de Suprimentos e a Logística, como sendo essenciais para um administrador
de empresas e busca saber “se” e “como” algumas instituições transmitem
esses conhecimentos aos alunos. Destaca-se o estudo de caso realizado com
oito Instituições de Ensino Superior onde, conclusivamente, os resultados
demonstram uma lacuna entre os aspectos relevantes e o que é ensinado aos
alunos dos cursos de Administração de Empresas.
Abstract
Nowadays in the world the companies operate in increasing competitive
environments, making use of new technologies and new ways of management
and relationship. This environment demands lots of efforts from the companies
and among all these efforts the update of its human resources that must be
prepared for this competition. The superior education institutions are source of
specialized (trained) labor for these organizations, however it is not possible to
know the knowledge or preparation level that the students will show up at the
end of the courses. The current study evidences two areas of knowledge: the
Supply Chain Management and the Logistics being essential to the companies
administrators and searchs to know “if” the Instituitions transmit this knowledge
to the students. This study has been carried through six superior education
institutions where the results demonstrated a deficiency between the
considerable aspects and what is taught to the students of the Business
Administration courses.
