Resumo
A Indústria 4.0, resultado da integração de tecnologias como Internet das Coisas, Sistemas Físico-Cibernéticos e Computação em Nuvem, entre outras, surge para conectar o mundo físico ao mundo virtual. Essa revolução impacta todas as funções das empresas – dentre elas, a Supply Chain, cuja complexidade vem aumentando, impondo diversos desafios às empresas. Uma das formas de se enfrentar esses desafios é integrar as tecnologias da Indústria 4.0 na Supply Chain. Essa integração causa impactos na Supply Chain ainda não esclarecidos e explorados. O objetivo deste trabalho é identificar e analisar os benefícios e desafios que as tecnologias da Indústria 4.0 causam na Supply Chain e captar a percepção das empresas com relação aos mesmos. Por meio de revisões sistemáticas da literatura, foram identificados vinte benefícios e vinte desafios. Observa-se que o ganho de eficiência nas atividades da Supply Chain é o benefício mais citado na literatura, com mais de 80%. Demais benefícios foram apontados por menos de 50% dos trabalhos. Já em relação aos desafios, o mais citado é a segurança e privacidade, com mais de 70%. Os outros desafios identificados apresentaram percentuais abaixo dos 20%. O estudo de campo realizado para captar as percepções das empresas em relação a esses benefícios e desafios indica uma convergência com a literatura, ou seja, evidencia que os benefícios e desafios mais relevantes são abordados tanto na prática quanto na teoria. Este trabalho também contribui com a teoria sobre Supply Chain, pois identifica e apresenta de forma sistematizada os benefícios e desafios decorrentes do uso das tecnologias da Indústria 4.0 na SC.
Abstract
Industry 4.0, resulting from the integration of technologies such as Internet of Things, Cyber-Physical Systems and Cloud Computing, among others, emerges to connect the physical world to the virtual world. This revolution impacts all the companies’ functions – among them, the Supply Chain, whose complexity is increasing, imposing several challenges to companies. One of the ways to address these challenges is to integrate Industry 4.0 technologies into the Supply Chain. This integration causes impacts on the supply chain not yet clarified and explored. The objective of this work is to identify and analyze the benefits and challenges that Industry 4.0 technologies cause in the supply chain and to capture companies' perception of them. Through systematic literature reviews, twenty benefits and twenty challenges were identified. It is observed that the efficiency gain in Supply Chain activities is the most cited benefit in the literature, with more than 80%. Other benefits were pointed out by less than 50% of the works. Regarding to the challenges, the most cited is security and privacy, with over 70%. The other challenges identified presented percentages below 20%. The case study to capture companies' perceptions of these benefits and challenges points to a convergence with the literature, showing that the most relevant benefits and challenges are addressed in both practice and theory. This work also contributes to the Supply Chain theory as it identifies and systematizes the benefits and challenges arising from the use of Industry 4.0 technologies in the SC.
