Resumo
Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo analisar o desenvolvimento do Projeto "A Escola de Cara Nova na Era da Informática" tendo como ponto de partida o Programa Nacional de Informática - PROINFO. A pesquisa apresenta uma breve trajetória histórica da informática na educação e o desdobramento do projeto no estado de São Paulo. Para a realização desta pesquisa nos valemos dos seguintes procedimentos metodológicos: levantamento histórico da implantação da informática na educação através da análise documental, sendo que o caminho foi amparado em referencial teórico dos autores citados ao longo da pesquisa, de entrevistas/gravações com os Assistentes Técnicos Pedagógicos - ATPs como os maiores responsáveis pela implantação do projeto na rede estadual da Diretoria de Ensino Região de Bauru, SP. A pesquisa é apresentada em três capítulos, além da Introdução e das Considerações Finais: no primeiro capítulo apresentamos e analisamos o histórico da implementação do Programa Nacional de Informática - PROINFO; no segundo capítulo analisamos o desenvolvimento do Projeto "A Escola de Cara Nova na Era da Informática" na rede estadual paulista e as medidas da Secretaria de Estado da Educação que fomentaram a informática educacional e a informática como possibilidades didáticas; e, no terceiro capítulo apresentamos a análise do desenvolvimento do projeto e as percepções dos Assistentes Técnicos Pedagógicos - ATPs em relação à capacitação na oficina do Núcleo Regional de Tecnologia Educacional - NRTE. A pesquisa evidenciou que a informática educacional pode concorrer para o ensino de qualidade; de outra parte, evidenciou as dificuldades na adoção desta ferramenta na rede estadual de ensino.
Abstract
This research aims at analyzing the development of the project "The new face of school in the Computer Age", having as a starting point the National Program of Computer Technology - PROINFO. The research presents a brief historical description of the use of information technology in education and the development of the project in the state of São Paulo - Brazil. In order to conduct this research we have used the following methodological procedures: historical research of the introduction of computer technology in education through the analysis of documents, being that the way was supported in theoretical reference of the authors who were cited in the research, of recorded interviews with Pedagogic Assistant Technicians, the ones in charge of the establishment of the project in the public schools of the Bauru Regional Teaching Department. This research is presented in three chapters, besides an Introduction and Final Considerations: in the first chapter we present and analyze the history of the introduction of the National Program of Computer Technology - PROINFO; in the second chapter, we analyze the development of the project "The new face of school in the Computer Age" in public schools in the state of São Paulo and the measures taken by the State Education Department which promoted educational computer technology and computer technology as didactic possibilities; and in the third chapter, we present the analysis of the development of the project and the perceptions of the Pedagogic Assistant Technicians in relation to the capacitation given in the workshops at the Regional Center of Educational Technology - NRTE. The research evidenced that educational computer technology may concur for quality in teaching; on the other hand, it showed the difficulties in adopting this tool in public state schools.
