Resumo
O estudo trata da relação entre a saúde e a educação, partindo da hipótese de que a articulação entre essas áreas, na forma de políticas públicas planejadas, pode constituir novas formas de agir que favoreçam o movimento da inclusão escolar de alunos com deficiência. Considerando o conceito ampliado de saúde, que leva em conta elementos que vão além da doença e que se referem também aos aspectos psicossociais, a atenção em saúde deve favorecer o movimento da inclusão escolar, ampliando as possibilidades de uma melhor qualidade de vida aos alunos com deficiência, com ênfase na potencialização da aprendizagem. Buscando desvelar em que medida a relação da saúde com a educação tem contribuído para a qualidade do atendimento aos alunos com deficiência na rede comum de ensino, foi posta em prática uma pesquisa de campo com base na abordagem qualitativa, contextualizada na política educacional de um município do interior do Estado de São Paulo. Para a coleta de dados, foram realizadas entrevistas abertas com profissionais da educação e da saúde, de forma que os dados obtidos permitiram a construção de respostas aos objetivos propostos no estudo. As unidades de análise apontam que, no município em questão, não se observam políticas específicas voltadas para o planejamento e a manutenção de serviços públicos de saúde, que busquem inaugurar práticas pautadas na integralidade da atenção aos alunos com deficiência, matriculados no ensino comum.
Abstract
The study deals with the relation between health and education, assuming the fact that the articulation between these areas, in the way of planned public politics, may constitute new ways of acting that will promote the movement of school inclusion for students with disabilities. Considering the widened concept of health, which takes into account elements that go beyond the disease and refer also to the psycho-social aspects, attention to health must promote the movement of school inclusion, opening up possibilities of a better quality of life for students with disabilities, giving emphasis to learning potential. Looking for discovering in which way the relation between health and education has contributed to the quality of the service to the disabled students from the regular school system, it was put into practice the survey based on the quality view, contextualized in the educational politics from a city in the countryside of Sao Paulo state. To get the data it was done a interviews with professional linked with education and health, in a way that the data allowed the discovering of some answers that helped the goals of the study. The analyzed units show that, in the mentioned city, it wasn t observed specific politics focusing on the planning and the maintenance of the public health system, that try to set up practices based on the whole attention of the disabled students, enrolled in the common teaching.
