Resumo
A questão ambiental se apresenta como temática contemporânea e relevante, necessitando além da conscientização de sua importância, uma participação efetiva neste campo. A compreensão do meio ambiente deve ser a de um espaço onde os fatores pessoais, sociais e naturais estejam envolvidos e interligados. O presente trabalho teve como meta identificar as possibilidades de um trabalho transversal com o tema meio ambiente a partir do componente curricular Educação Física na 4ª série do Ensino Fundamental. O estudo teve como base a pesquisa-ação, proposta por Contreras (1994). Este tipo de investigação se caracteriza dentro de uma demanda contínua, num movimento espiral que requer: ação, observação, registro, reflexão, nova ação e assim sucessivamente. A pesquisa se desenvolveu em uma escola estadual do município de Piracicaba-SP, com os alunos da 4ª série do Ensino Fundamental. Primeiramente foi solicitado aos alunos que realizassem um desenho tendo como tema central o meio ambiente. Os desenhos foram posteriormente analisados, sendo selecionados 06 deles, mediante aqueles que proporcionavam maiores elementos a serem discutidos pelos próprios educandos. De posse dos 06 desenhos emergentes, foi realizada uma entrevista com os alunos da 4ª série, com a finalidade de identificar as considerações e significações que essas crianças apresentavam sobre o meio ambiente. As informações contidas nos relatos dos alunos ofereceram os subsídios para a etapa seguinte, que foi a realização de aulas de Educação Física que buscavam relacionar os conteúdos específicos desta disciplina com algumas questões ambientais. Após as aulas de Educação Física, foi feito uma nova entrevista com as crianças da 4ª série, fazendo uso de um cartaz com imagens que representassem o processo vivenciado por elas nas aulas de Educação Física. Analisando posteriormente o relato das crianças sobre as imagens contidas no cartaz, fica comprovado que o componente curricular Educação Física, possui condições favoráveis para abordar assuntos relativos as questões ambientais, promovendo uma re-significação das percepções de meio ambiente nas crianças.
Abstract
The environmental subject comes as contemporary and relevant theme, needing besides the understanding of his/her importance, an effective participation in this field. The understanding of the environment should be the one of a space where the factors personal, social and natural are involved and interlinked. The present work had as goal identifies the possibilities of a traverse work with the theme environment starting from the component curricular Physical education in the 4th series of the Fundamental Teaching. The study had as base the research-action, proposed by Contreras (1994). This investigation type is characterized inside of a continuous demand, in a spiral movement that requests: action, observation, registration, reflection, new action and so forth. The research grew at a state school of the municipal district of Piracicaba-SP, with the students of the 4th series of the Fundamental Teaching. Firstly it was requested the students that accomplished a drawing tends as central theme the environment. The drawings were analyzed later, being selected 06 of them, by those that provided larger elements to be discussed by the own students. Of ownership of the 06 emerging drawings, an interview was accomplished with the students of the 4th series, with the purpose of identifying the considerations and significances that those children presented on the environment. The information contained in the students' reports offered the subsidies for the following stage, that it was the accomplishment of classes of Physical education that you/they looked for to relate the specific contents of this discipline with some environmental subjects. After the classes of Physical education, it was made a new interview with the children of the 4th series, making use of a poster with images that represented the process lived by them in the classes of Physical education. Analyzing the children's choice later on the images contained in the poster, it is proven that the component curricular Physical education, possesses favorable conditions to approach relative subjects the environmental subjects, promoting a reverse-significance of the environment perceptions in the children.
