Resumo
O objetivo deste trabalho é sugerir um conceito de “ Empresa Classe Mundial “ para indústria de autopeças comentando sua forma de gestão, as inter-relações e características de suas diversas áreas focando mais detalhadamente a área de manufatura. Também será apresentado um estudo de caso onde é analisada a transformação de uma planta para usinagem de Blocos e cabeçotes para motores diesel em “ Manufatura de Classe Mundial “ discorrendo brevemente sobre as principais técnicas utilizadas neste processo e os resultados obtidos.
Abstract
The goal of this work is to suggest an “World Class Enterprise” concept for auto parts industry discoursing on about its management system the interrelations and characteristics of its several areas with a focus in the manufacturing area. Also, it will be presented a case study where it is analyzed the transformation of a diesel engine
blocks and heads machining plant in “ World Class Manufacturing “ telling briefly about
the main techniques used in this process and the results achieved.
