Resumo
Devido ao alto custo de aquisição dos
software
s proprietários, muitas empresas vêm
procurando alternativas para reduzir este curso. Uma das alternativas é a utilização
dos
software
s de código aberto, ou seja, o
Open Source Software
- OSS. O objetivo
deste trabalho é proporcionar às empresas industriais com características da macro
região de Maringá-PR, um sistema de análise de viabilidade de adoção de OSS, a
fim de proporcionar indicativos relevantes sobre a viabilidade ou não da sua
utilização. Para isto, primeiramente foram efetuadas pesquisas bibliográficas sobre
software
s, sistemas de informação, OSS, aplicação dos OSS, qualidade de
software
e Análise Estatística Multivariada. Em segundo lugar foi efetuada uma pesquisa
on-
line
utilizando recursos da Internet, nas empresas industriais da macro região de
Maringá-PR, tentando identificar pontos relevantes sobre os Pacotes Offices,
Sistemas Operacionais e Sistemas de Informação Gerencial. Em terceiro lugar,
utilizando recursos da Estatística Multivariada, por meio da Análise dos
Componentes Principais, foram identificadas variáveis relevantes da pesquisa. Em
quarto lugar, foi desenvolvido um sistema para que empresas industriais possam
obter indicativas relevantes sobre a utilização ou não dos OSS. Em último lugar o
sistema foi aplicado em três empresas industriais da macro região de Maringá-PR.
Os resultados foram satisfatórios, onde, entre o Pacote Office, Sistema Operacional
e Sistema de Informação Gerencial, o que apresentou um menor índice de migração
nas empresas pesquisadas foi o Pacote Office. Os resultados contribuíram para que
as empresas pudessem se prevenir de possíveis problemas em relação a adoção do
novo sistema. Devido ao baixo custo de aquisição, os OSS vêm se tornando um
grande atrativo para muitos usuários. Porém existem atributos específicos que
classificam um
software
de qualidade. Devido à falta de incentivo ou de recurso,
muitos
software
s são desenvolvidos sem muito destes atributos. Muitas empresas
infelizmente não têm levado em consideração os principais atributos da qualidade de
um
software
durante a aquisição de um sistema. Desta forma, problemas soluções
para amenizar problemas como compatibilidade, assistência técnica e validação
devem ser consideradas para amenizar tais problemas.
Abstract
Because to the software proprietors' high cost, many companies have been come
looking for alternative to reduce this course. One of the alternatives is the use of
software of opened code, that is, the Open Source Software - OSS. The objective of
this work is to provide to the industrial companies with characteristics of the macro
region of Maringá-PR, a system of analysis of viability of OSS adoption, in order to
provide excellent indicative on the viability or not of its use. For this, bibliographical
research on software, systems of information, OSS, application of the OSS, quality of
software and Analysis had been first effected Multivariate Statistics. In as place on-
line was effected a research using resources of the Internet, in the industrial
companies of the macro region of Maringá-PR, trying to identify excellent points on
the Offices Packages, Operational systems and Systems of Managemental
Information. In third place, using resources of the Multivariate Statistics, by means of
the Analysis of the Main Components, had been identified changeable excellent of
the research. In room place, a system was developed so that industrial companies
can get excellent indicative on the use or not of the OSS. In last place, the system
was applied in three industrial companies of the macro region of Maringá-PR. The
results had been satisfactory, where, between the Package Office, Operational
system and System of Managemental Information, what it presented a lesser index of
migration in the searched companies was the Office Packages. The results had
contributed so that the companies could prevent of possible problems in relation the
adoption of the new system. Had to the low cost of acquisition, the OSS come if
becoming great a attractive one for many users. However, specific attributes exist
that classify quality software. Due to resource or incentive lack, many softwares are
developed without very of these attributes. Many companies have unhappily not
taken in consideration the main attributes of the quality of software during the
acquisition of a system. In such a way, problems solutions to brighten up problems as
compatibility, assistance technique and validation must be considered to brighten up
such problems.
