Resumo
Nos últimos anos, a Gestão da Cadeia de Suprimentos vem se destacando como um modelo gerencial a ser explorado pelas empresas, na busca por aumento de competitividade. Seus principais benefícios são obtidos através da intensificação dos relacionamentos entre os membros da cadeia de suprimentos e da implementação de práticas e iniciativas que buscam facilitar a integração e agilizar o fluxo de informações entre os membros da mesma. Neste contexto, o objetivo deste trabalho é, através da realização de um estudo de múltiplos casos, verificar como as práticas e iniciativas da Gestão da Cadeia de Suprimentos vêm sendo utilizadas no pólo têxtil de Americana. Para tanto foram realizadas 10 entrevistas com empresas inseridas no pólo têxtil de Americana que representam todos os elos da cadeia de suprimentos estudada e uma entrevista com uma entidade representativa da classe empresarial local. Os resultados obtidos mostram que as empresas e entidades do pólo têxtil de Americana não utilizam as práticas e iniciativas em Gestão da Cadeia de Suprimentos. Elas apresentam apenas algumas iniciativas de parceria e integração com seus parceiros de negócio que acabam não contemplando os principais objetivos das práticas e iniciativas estudadas que são a redução dos custos ao longo de toda a cadeia de suprimentos e a oferta de um produto com maior valor percebido ao cliente final.
Abstract
During the last years Supply Chain Management (SCM) has been highlighted as a frontier being exploited by the industrial companies (especially on automotive, retailer and high tech industry) for raising its competitiveness. Generally the main SCM benefits are obtained through the implementation of practices and initiatives that search to facilitate the integration and the information flow among the supply chain. On the o ther hand, the Brazilian textile industry has faced with increasing foreign competition and restructuring processes. In this context, the objective of this work is to conduct a case study in order to verify if the practices and initiatives of the Supply Chain Management have been used in the textile cluster of Americana. It had been carried through ten interviews with companies inserted in the textile cluster of Americana who represent all the links of the Supply Chain studied and one interview with a representative entity of the local enterprise. The results show that the companies and entities of the textile region of American do not use the practices and initiatives in Supply Chain Management. They present only some initiatives of partnership and integration with its partners that indeed do not contemplate the main objective of practices and initiatives in decreasing the costs along the supply chain and in offering a product with more perceived value to the final customer.
